Wills and Trusts

Our experience and advice can help you plan for the future. You can’t always avoid life’s hardships, but prior planning can help you, and your loved ones, handle these issues.

We can help you prepare documents such as a Will, Trust, Power of Attorney, Health Care Proxy, Deed (including Deeds reserving life use) and Beneficiary Designation. But no one tool is right for every situation. We have the experience to recommend the right tools to address your needs and concerns. We’ll help you create a plan for the future.

When we meet, our first question won’t be what document you want prepared. Instead we’ll start by discussing you, your family, and your concerns. Once we understand you situation and your concerns, we’ll suggest a solution to address your needs, explain how each instrument operates and any consequences you or your loved ones may encounter.

Sometimes we find our advice goes beyond the legal, and into family dynamics. We’ve handled a lot of wills and estates. We’ve seen how the loss can affect family members and change the relationship between those members. In our discussion we’ll talk about your family, and what might happen upon a loss. Again, our goal is to educate you and help you formulate a plan, so that you can plan for the future.
